Such a beautiful old building that the owners are taking very good care of. The rooms were plush but small. The majority of the staff bent over backwards to help us and show us around. Recommend staying here for the history of the building.
Charming, older hotel, with beautifully decorated rooms. Vintage, but with modern bathrooms & heat a/c.
Front desk staff helpful and accommodating to my needs. Would book again.
Hotel in a handy location, historical, quirky decor in the rooms, relaxing hot pools and sauna too. Helpful friendly staff too from check in, at the bar and breakfast in the morning. Great overall experience. I would recommend and will stay again.
Overall a charming property with a very spacious room at a good rate. A/C and heating both worked very well. Great location right within walking distance to main dining and shopping area.
Couple things to note is there is no elevator at the property but staff was able to assist with bringing luggage up. It is also private entrance to the rooms, like motel style
The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant was great. The sauna and hot tubs were wonderful. Sandeep Kaur was especially helpful and pleasant. All in all a great stay
Staff are welcoming, helpful and deliver great customer service. Enjoyed their restaurant, food amazing staff amazing! Relaxed everyday in the spas. All amenities we needed are within walking distance. Will definitely return 😁
Staff is friendly, room is clean and with beautiful decorations, breakfast is delicious but at the end all the fruits are gone, no replacements, the 19th century building is well maintained, the piano in the lounge area is definitely a plus!
We loved our stay in this gorgeous hotel. The room was quiet, the staff were amazing given we had no internet they provided a free breakfast for both of us. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The staff were attentive and accommodating. The toilets need an upgrade. The breakfast buffet were short of food, we were not able to enjoy the food as they ran out of almost all the food for breakfast. We enjoyed the public pool as well as the private pool,
Overall great experience staying in this heritage building. Calling it 5 star is pushing it a bit though. We were in a ground floor estate room. The bathroom was clean and serviceable but nothing flash. There were a few minor issues - light bulb in the bedside lamp not working, no towels in the pool area one morning. The breakfast was pleasant but nothing special. The room service food wasn't great. I would recommend booking an upstairs room, as being an old building the people in the room above you can sound like elephants overhead. This sounds like a lot of negatives but on the positive side, the building is gorgeous, the pool area is lovely, the staff were great. The location is also excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Gorgeous building in a fantastic location, so close to the lake and shops, restaurants, cafes and the beautiful Parliament gardens across the street. Lovely outdoor hot pools, with a private one as well! The sauna was much appreciated to dry off in warmth after a soak. Our room was downstairs with no view and quirky but comfortable with clean sheets and a clean functional bathroom. The shampoo supplied was a bit budget so take your own and no conditioner. We dined one evening at the restaurant… just ok. No real vibe, almost stale atmosphere. Too pricey for what we got and the wait staff seemed to be clock watching (at 8.30pm I might add!) The $25 buffet breakfast looked bog standard but we chose nearby cafes instead. I’d stay again but would request an upstairs room this time. Outstanding restaurant 5 minutes up the road called The Fainting Goat … ensure you book! Outstanding Cafe was the Lime Cafe … superb !
