The home is very spacious with amazing views, and the heaters kept it nice and warm the whole time. The highlight was definitely the spa – perfect for relaxing after a day out. Communication from the property manager was excellent and made everything easy. The house is a little dated and could have been a touch cleaner, but neither of these things affected our stay. We did have some issues getting the oven up to temperature to roast a meal so that will be checked by the owner. The back deck with a view over Rotorua was stunning and we really enjoyed having meals out there. The hot tub was a real treat. The house itself could use some updating, but was clean and was stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs bathroom/laundry was lacking a counter top to get ready for the day, so we were all having to use one bathroom sink for the most part, but just a minor inconvenience.
