"The place it’s self was a great location and had all the basics. It’s was clean and we had our own ski storage. What wasn’t in the description is that it’s directly above a nightclub that blasts music till 4am every single night. We both had noise cancelling headphones (really good ones) and it didn’t help one bit. When we contacted the hosts they said it was in the advert which it was not - it was on their direct booking site and not hotels.com. They also downplay how loud it is- it’s insane....

"We were a family of 4 staying in the family suite which was excellent with great facilities, modern, and roomy. Only slight downside was the noise from the ski hire shop directly above, 8am to 6pm. Our room was spacious, with a lovely balcony offering stunning views. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great variety of food to suit all tastes. It set us up perfectly for a day of skiing. The hotel’s heated boot room was an excellent feature, ensuring our skis and boots were dry and ready to go every morning. The location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the Clotes chairlift, making it incredibly convenient for getting onto the slopes quickly. We had an unforgettable week skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvanche. It was the perfect base for our honeymoon, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Sauze D’Oulx."
