Hotel Olimpo Le Terrazze
5/5 Excellent
Great views and facilities
"The rooms are finished to a high standard. We had rooms with balcony and sea view and as the hotel is built on a steep hillside the views are spectacular. We particularly loved the Olimpo outdoor pool although there are two others to choos from. Also has its own private beach. Would recommend to any of my family and friends. "

"This is a very modern hotel in a kind of rural area. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were lovely! They couldn’t have been any more helpful. We checked in and found the plug for the hot tub on our balcony wasn’t working properly. Reception got maintenance who couldn’t instantly fix the problem so we were moved to the room next door. This room was exactly the same but the hot tub was fully functioning. The breakfast at the hotel was good. A large variety of options. We had lunch and cocktails from the bar area at the front of the hotel which was again lovely. We were treated to complimentary local delicacies whilst having our drinks. We stayed end of May and the whole area was very quiet. The beaches were empty but were beginning to get set up for the summer season. We were the only people sunbathing and swimming in the outdoor pool area. Which is a very rare opportunity! We walked to a local supermarket approximately 5mins away. We walked along the beach front for dinner locally and found a variety of local seafood based restaurants. Overall the stay could not have been any nicer. We will be back. "
"The hotel is very well maintained for an older property. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff spoke English which was helpful for someone trying to learn Italian. The full breakfast that was included with the cost of the room was excellent and a nice surprise. "
"It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."

"Our stay at the Donna Rosa Hotel was simply fantastic, and we would definitely return. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Sant'Alessio Siculo, just a minute's walk from a beautiful, uncrowded beach with calm waters. It's also a short 15-minute drive away from the vibrant hustle and bustle of Taormina and Savoca village.
The staff at the hotel are incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and friendly, which truly enhanced our experience in Sicily. 😊
Our room was spotlessly clean, well-lit, and spacious, offering a partial sea view from the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a variety of fruits, cereals, croissants, and more. They even had non-dairy milk, which was perfect for me.
For those who prefer not to stay in the midst of bustling tourist areas but still want to be close to various attractions, within walking distance of a lovely beach, and greeted by the hotel's warm and cheerful staff, we highly recommend the Donna Rosa Hotel!"
"Checkin was great reception friendly and helpful
Room seemed ok at first. Old fashioned but functional. However on going to bed putting the air conditioner on the noise was terrible. Could not get wifi to work tried to call reception the phone did not work. So no sleep no wifi and broken phone. The next morning on check out reported to reception response was why didn’t you check when you first went to the room if you had we would have offered another room. Told WiFi is only in common areas! I found the fact they expect the paying guest to check the room odd I have never gone into a hotel room with a check list before and never will these thing should be checked by housekeepers not the guest. Should we have gone to the night reception and complained yes but we were already changed when we discovered the problems. As for this being a four star hotel I hear stayed in better 2 or 3 stars this is no way a 4 star. This hotel should be removed from your site as I feel it is mis- represented
Even the bed sheets had holes in it "
