You’ll instantly fall in love with Carlo’s Welcome in Trastevere and its fantastic location. The bus stop and taxi stand are near the apartment; for those traveling by car, there are public parking lots and a paid garage. Carlo’s Welcome in Trastevere is very welcoming, and the neighborhood offers shops, a supermarket, restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, a market, the Vascello Theater, banks, bakeries, pharmacies, and more. It is located just a few minutes’ walk from Trastevere (a historic neighborhood bustling with nightlife), Porta Portese (with its traditional Sunday market), Testaccio (known for its nightlife), Gianicolo, and the Vatican. Guests can reach areas of cultural interest either on foot or by public transportation. By taking tram No. 8 (a short walk away), after 6 stops you’ll reach the city center, home to Rome’s most important monuments. Bus No. 75 takes you to Termini Station, Ostiense Station, and the southern part of the city center. Bus No. 870 takes you to the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica in just a few minutes; you can also walk there, passing through the Janiculum Hill and enjoying its wonderful view of Rome. To reach the apartment: from Fiumicino Airport, take the FL1 train line (price: €8) to Trastevere, purchase a BIT ticket (cost: €1.50), and take line 871 for 10 stops, getting off at the CARINI/BONNET stop; follow the bus route along Via Carini—the third street on the left is Via Maurizio Quadrio.
From Termini Station, purchase a BIT ticket (cost: €1.5) and take bus line 75 from the stop on Via Cavour (toward Poerio), then get off after 25 stops at “CARINI / PILO.” Follow the bus along Via Carini; the first street on the left is Via Maurizio Quadrio.
