"This was our fourth vacation trip to the mid-coast Maine area. We thought we would take a chance at staying on a beach front property. I failed to realize that the location was directly on a major highway with very heavy car and truck traffic. Because the apartment has no air conditioning, it was necessary to keep windows open to allow for air circulation. "We booked just one night in town to attend a friend's birthday party but needed to bring our dog with us so booked a "pet friendly" room. We were pleasantly surprised to find a dog bed, bowls and a bag of treats in our room. It was such a nice touch! The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was tasty and the front desk clerk very pleasant. We'll definitely book again!"
