"Overall my family and I were very happy with our stay in Eureka. The house was very easy to find and access and was the perfect home base for our exploration in the area. Everything was nicely stocked for our shorter stay which we really appreciated since we had flown in from across the country. The views are so beautiful and we really enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets from the house. The owner was also very communicative with us, even as we had delayed flight issues, and answered any questions we had about our stay. One thing I will note is the stairs inside the home are definitely steep and some parts are open with no railing, so if you have toddlers or elderly travelers, you absolutely need to keep that in mind. Our 4 year old navigated them just fine though! If we ever find ourselves in this part of Montana on another trip, I hope we get to stay here again!"
Hot Tub & Views: 'Sunset Valley Retreat' in Eureka
10/10 Excellent
"House was great! Had everything we needed. Amazing view offf the deck. Very peaceful and quiet. We loved watching the deer on the property. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was nice after a day of hiking. It was a great set up for 2 couples."
"This was our second stay at this wonderful hilltop home. Very quiet, with excellent views all around. Despite the hot weather we encountered, the house stayed beautifully cool with fine AC units - and in the eves, the hilltop location allows for nice breezes to cool things off. Very clean, plus comfy beds, too!"
"Eight family members (17-80 yrs) loved this home right on the Tobacco River. We fished for cutties on the Hungry Horse Reservoir, river rafted inside Glacier National Park, did the alpine slides, shopped picturesque Whitefish, etc, etc…The house itself was great, well laid out and stocked. The covered porch and upper deck looked out over a great fire pit area to the sound of the swift-flowing stream/river immediately beyond it.From osprey and deer sightings to a juvenile black bear (at a remote stream inlet fishing location on the reservoir)… the home and all of extreme northwest Montana was simply great! We would gladly revisit this home and location at our earliest chance!"
