"An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. "Unforgettable stay in a fabulous, historic setting. We were celebrating a special birthday with friends and couldn’t have found a more perfect, relaxed setting in which to enjoy the occasion.The apartments and grounds provide ample space for a large party with a backdrop of the Tuscan countryside and view of the Appian Alps. The hosts are kind and considerate, and the meal we had catered by the staff was lovely. Every day was an adventure walking in nature, by lakes, forests, swimming or hanging out around the pool."

"We had a really fantastic experience at La Ninfa hotel. From check in until check out Alessandro and all his staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had a room with a perfect view of the river. The breakfast is delicious with a lovely selection of food. The restaurant is a must to try for dinner - top class quality food beautifully presented. The thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel - thank you!"

"The home was charming, clean and host was wonderful! The views were amazing! The drive to get there was intense. If you’re uncomfortable with narrow, winding roads, this property is not recommended. We would have loved this property as an authentic Tuscan experience. If you want to immerse yourself in the everyday country culture this is the place! Unfortunately, due to multiple airline delays we were 3 days behind in travel plans so decided it made more sense for us to avoid the 1.5 hour drive return from a Florence day trip so left a day early. This was no fault of host or property, just unfortunate logistics. "

"Lovely old mountain house with great pizza oven and stone built BBQ. The gardens are great and the pool was amazing. THAT VIEW!! you feel like you are swimming in the mountains. We even saw fire flies at night. "

"An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. The shower was a little small and flimsy but the water was good and hot and the heating was hydronic . Staff were excellent. Only a short walk from a beautiful town and the station. If you dont speak italian the majority of staff spoke some English but take your translator with you. A beautiful mountain atmosphere gives a good break from the bustling cit of florence. "
