The staff were professional & warm. We needed to extend our visit due to a loved one being seen at VCU Medical Center. They were accommodating without giving us any problems. Location is great. About 10 min from VCU Medical Center, a very nice shopping center across the street with a Kroger Grocery Store & several restaurants. There is even an Exxon right across the street!

Swimming pool is closed. Doubt it gets open anytime soon. They have a game room with a small "pool" table. You will be charged additional to park in their litter filled parking lot. I wouldn't care how dirty a Richmond Hotel parking lot is if I didn't have to pay extra to park in it. The interior of hotel was very clean. Great food places around hotel. A Kroger is 2 blocks away as well. Everything you need is close.

Parking was $7/day for a flat asphalt lot between the hotel and a seen-better-days strip mall. No apparent value for the $7, say, for security or a valet. They charge it because you have no other choice. Pool was completely closed, like covered permanently. Pluses: nice fitness center and rec room. The pool table and shuffleboard need maintenance but were playable. Lots of space in the rec room with comfy couch, bean bags, and monster TVs. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was pleasant and professional. Room was very clean with the exception of a slightly moldy shower (we've all seen worse). I was on the main road side of the hotel, but it was quiet except for the very loudest redneck pickups.

Had a great time, and staff was awesome. Checked into a room with a bunch of noise coming through the wall from the neighboring room. The folks at the front desk didn't hesitate to put me in a different room and everything was great. Breakfast was good, they have 24/7 coffee in the lobby, game room, and outdoor cornhole boards. Was a great experience all around
