We really enjoyed staying at HarbourView. The place was exactly as advertised - clean, new, and comfortable. In addition to the bedroom, there was a nice living area with a couch and chair. Little things like the nice Icelandic blanket made it cozy. Also appreciated the restaurant recommendations and the history of what this little town has endured the past few years. Would highly recommend.

This was a cute place to stay in a unique location. It was small, but had everything we needed and was very modern and clean. It also had a very nice view of the harbor. The check in instructions were clear and we had no problem getting in to our unit. I would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The small town was very peaceful and the locals are very friendly. The view from the cabin is beautiful and serene. Communication with the Harbour View company is very prompt and friendly. They were ready to assist with whatever was needed. I would definitely stay here again.

These are cute little houses convenient to Blue Lagoon. There is no reception but there is a main building with some amenities for nearby campers and a cleaning person comes daily. Communication was good including arrival instructions. House has full kitchen, nice bathroom including towel heater that helped us dry clothes, and full kitchen. Area near the harbor is pleasant (albeit a little industrial). Worked well for a one night stay. Our one complaint was that some of the property amenities were in less than good condition. The tv mount was damaged and was held up by a rope in the back so screen slumped downward. Also, the pull out couch felt flimsy as we opened it as one side appeared to be coming undone. The house had everything we needed but quite small so was barely big enough for the three of us and our luggage. You might need to leave some things in the car if you have 4 or more people.

The cottage was very nice and roomy with a view of the Harbour. However, the bedroom is really small and barely any room around the bed so the person at the back would have to crawl over the other person to get out. But loved all the space after smaller hotel rooms in Iceland. Check in was super simple. Note there is not a lot around this area due to the past volcano action. It is close to the Blue Lagoon though, and that is why I picked it. We enjoyed Papa's for pizza but then were sort of out of luck for breakfast on Sunday. There is a kitchen though, so plan ahead if you plan to stay awhile.

Great property directly across from bay. The Blue Lagoon is 5 Minutes away. Unit had a full kitchen which was a bonus. The blackout blinds on every window were perfect. Unit needs a full size mirror for getting ready near outlets. We didn’t find any outlets in bathroom.

The unit/room was a highlight of our trip for sure. If you book here it’s worth spending actually time in the room as something like that was hard to come by during our travels. The town didn’t have much variety for food to offer at the time, likely due to recent volcano activity, but the location was great and only a short drive to other hubs.
