Looks a little sketchy when you first drive up but a pleasant surprise. Spotlessly clean and the beds were FABULOUS. And a steal of a deal for Revelstoke!! And only a block from Main Street. Highly recommend !!My only criticism is the goofy throw rugs on the floor. They are dirty and a tripping hazard.

It's such a shame about the floorboards in this hotel as unfortunately, they, on their own, meant that our night's sleep was incredibly disturbed. We spotted on the check-in form that it said in small print 'may hear noise from above' and the receptionist said 'oh, it's just footsteps - it's not too bad.' She told us there wasn't anyone booked in above us anyway - well, that changed or was wrong. The following morning we mentioned this and the manager was very apologetic but at the same time, is very aware of the problem. Everything else here is marvellous - the food in the dining room was superb and good value and the corridors in the hotel are beautiful. The rooms are well-appointed. If it wasn't for the noise from above it really would be fabulous.

The bed! The bed is amazing! I love this hotel. Keep in mind, the floors are hardwood so it can be noisy. I would stay on the second floor to avoid the foot noise.

We had a great tomeat the hotel! We were a little uncertain when we first pulled up, but don’t let the outside of the building fool you. Inside is very well taken care of, spacious and very, very clean. We were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in one of the newer rooms that looks to have been recently renovated, and it was immaculate. I’ve never slept in a bed that was more comfortable than this one at a hotel before! Front desk was extremely helpful and friendly as well. One thing to note is that there is a pub next-door and I can see how the rooms might get loud when the pub is open. We got lucky because it looks like it’s closed right now for construction so we had a very quiet sleep. We would definitely come back! Thank you so much for the great stay!

Reception staff Lisa was helpful, efficient and friendly. She informs us where to go watch the Aurora Borealis lights that evening Continental breakfast with boiled eggs, fruit, cereal etc was a good start to the day with Philip ensuring replenishment and cleanliness Downtown less than 5 minute walk from hotel

Decor was old fashioned Chinese style. Surrounding area was not attractive. Hotel behind (which we overlooked) was unkempt and, luckily for us, closed. Otherwise I hate to imagine the noise. The bed was comfortable. The receptionist was pleasant. Laundry was a good bonus. Breakfast was a cold, continental one. Adequate for most but I am gluten intolerant ( medically diagnosed) and staff had no idea if any cereal they had was g/free. Did not even stock a loaf of g/f bread. My breakfast was a hard boiled egg and a few pieces of orange.

I’m not sure how this property is rated so high. Although you get what you pay for, so many things broken in the room. Hairdryer, fridge, the shower head kept dripping all night and wouldn’t stop regardless of what I did. Things I could live with, I guess I expected more with the higher reviews on this site

We arrived late (around midnight) so there was nothing more than we needed a bed and the Grizz met our expectations. We were up early to carry on travel so didn't really have a lot of experience with the hotel.
