Broadkill Beach near Lewes Milton Rehoboeth Delaware

This apartment provides you with the availability of unlimited activities & adventures that few people are privileged enough to experience. Located on the south end of Broadkill Beach, this spacious two bedroom property faces the sandy beach just a few steps from the front door. To the back of the property is your own private dock for crabbing ,fishing and kayaking . Come stay and enjoy our beautiful suite!

This apartment is a 2 bedroom in-law suite on the first floor of our home. The spacious bedrooms feature 2 twin daybed and 1 queen size bed. Each bedroom has access to the back deck with amazing views of the wildlife refuge. The bathroom is equipped with a oversized shower with grab-bars. There is also a small, fully equipped eat-in kitchen. It's a great place for that first cup of coffee in the morning or a sunset dinner! Unlike many beach homes, there are only about 6 steps to walk up to this first floor reteat.

We do reside in the property, so Captain Steve is available to share his knowledge of the local fishing & crabbing. Bobbie will certainly assist with any questions about some of the best local restaurants and activities, including her favorite spa. If you have any questions, please let us know!
Check-in time is 3 pm EST and check-out time 11 am EST.

Amazing! My partner and our 11-year old and 13-year old had an amazing weekend getaway for my partner's birthday. The property was the perfect size for our family and had all the necessities we needed to give us more time to relax and enjoy our short stay. Everything was immaculate, from the cleanliness to upkeep and maintenance. Everything was in working order. Steve and his wife were great hosts. They were available throughout our stay to answer any questions we may have had and to share fishing knowledge of the area. I could tell that Captain Steve loves to fish, and he loves to see others fish, especially kids! He was so welcoming and seemed so happy to share his private dock with us. I wasn't sure how it would work out for us to spend the weekend in a family's in-law quarters while the family was in other parts of the house. Would it be weird to be in a house when the family that lived there was upstairs? Would we feel like we weren't able to fully enjoy the property and our stay?It turned out to be perfect! At no point did we feel uncomfortable or like we were intruding, and our hosts made us feel like family. They made sure we knew we could reach out to them at any point, but not once did we feel weird about anything, and we never felt like we were being monitored or anything like that. Aside from the fishing, the outside bath house was my partner's favorite part of the trip because he could use the amazing purple toilet while still being outside yet private.

Absolutely lovely...I went mid September, perfect place for an off season quiet retreat. Tidal marshes right outside the back deck, bay/ocean and sand beach across the street - had it mostly to myself! Bobbie and Steve are excellent hosts. Kitchen very well equipped. House comfortable and clean. Loved it and will be back, thank you!

Perfect getaway

We were looking for a laid back beach holiday and this was everything we hoped for. Steve and Bobbie shared their knowledge of the area which helped us get our bearings. The space was clean and peaceful. They’ve thought of all the amenities. They are fully stocked on coffee, spices, toiletries, bug spray, anything you may need for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and conversations with the owners. This area is a private beach so the hustle and bustle of other beaches are missing. We enjoyed that!

Best of both worlds

We loved our stay here and plan to make a return trip when we can stay at least a week. You have the beach right across the street, and a wildlife preserve behind the property where you can fish from the dock. Steve was extrememly friendly and helpful, and the inside had everything you would need. The outside bathroom was also fully stocked.

Wonderful Location

Broadkill Beach house was a lovely place to get away. The house was amazingly clean! The view out the back of the water and marsh areas was breathtaking. The window air conditioners worked well. The beach across the street was so close and the water was perfectly calm and so warm, we loved it. Almost the whole beach to ourselves, even on a Saturday! The horseshoe crabs dead on the beach did have a little smell and we did have a few horse flies buzzing and biting, but it was totally worth it to have such a peaceful, beautiful sandy beach to ourselves. We collected shells and watched the little sand piggies dig with every wave. The natural beaches are my favorite. My kids loved the Rehoboth beach, 40 minute away, for the big waves they could jump and the boardwalk. And it was nice to be so close to that as well. Only things I would note are: the outdoor bathroom works fine but I wouldn’t necessarily count it as a bathroom with the big openings around the bottom, my kids would rather wait for other one, not having a family room for the 4 of us was definitely something we didn’t really consider and we did miss being able to hang out in the same room other than the kitchen. But it was worth it for the location and cleanliness of the house.We highly recommend!

Fantastic stay!

My family had a great time at this location! Steve and Bobbie are great hosts and wonderful to talk to. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. Having linens, towels, plus all other amenities included, made us feel right at home. The relaxed atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Exceeded expectations

The property and the hosts are amazing! The property had so many amenities and the location was just stunning! A beach cart filled with sand toys and beach chairs meant we didn't have to bring those things or haul them home. A well stocked kitchen meant cooking meals was easy, leaving more time for us to enjoy vacation (and save money by not always eating out!). We were able to crab right off the dock at the property and Captain Steve gave us a lesson in preparation and ways to enjoy fresh crab. I am already looking forward to returning in the future! I highly recommend booking this property.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

Steve and Bobbie are fantastics hosts and lovely people. They made us feel instantly at home. We loved Broadkill Beach and the rental. Great views of Prime Hook marshes and easy access to the beach. Great get away

This place was perfect for my husband and me. The hosts are very helpful and unintrusive. Everything you need is at the house. We enjoyed sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the deck. We hope to come back again.

Sand, sun, and water

We had the perfect stay, perfect weather, and wonderful hosts. Our 4 and 6 year old granddaughters never tired of looking for clams of all sizes and sand fleas. It was a magical place for them. We relaxed and enjoyed their activity. Alsi had some greal meals in Milton.
