The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Room had ample space for family of 4\. Was worried about single bunk beds for my older teenagers but they were fit for purpose. Lots of storage for clothes and luggage. Wish there was more hooks for hanging up towels though. Overall very happy with our Christmas skiing holiday. Close to piste/gondola, town, restaurants... Very impressed with the breakfast buffet. And highly recommend Skimuim opposite for ski hire. Excellent service. The apartment was great value for money but lacked two easy to remedy things. A heated towel rail for the lack of towels. One each is not enough when’s swimming pool so constantly damp. Also a tea cloth or oven glove is missing from the inventory. Getting things out the oven with a ski sock isn’t great. I found the double bed far too hard, but that is personal preference. Staff lovely. We stayed last week of ski season and were incredibly lucky with the snow. But majority of cafes and restaurants had shut. Supermarket also very low on stock. So be prepared for a visit to Bourg as 1800 and 1600 even less open.
