« We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks. »

« We only stayed one night but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. Mattress was a bit springy but comfortable and slept well. Would definitely stay again. »

« First, the room was not as advertised on the number of people who could sleep in it I had to pay for another room for my kids. After, that we settled in and noticed the rooms were not cleaned. The bedding,floor and toilet was had dirt from the previous guest in fact I was too ashamed to let the staff know after paying extra money had to leave the next day as early as possible. »

« The cottage rooms are very tired with broken bathroom fittings and outdated sanitary ware. The bedroom needs a good clean and updating the carpets and furnishings. There are never enough staff to provide a timely dining or breakfast experience. The staff are very pleasant but the limited staffing makes a responsive service impossible. Investment required before customers start to go elsewhere. »

« Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area. »

« 5 stars isn’t enough for Eastdale B&B. The property is immaculate. Liz is an exemplary host. The breakfast was excellent and was all quality ingredients. Parking is easy. I travel extensively for business and Eastdale B&B is the best accommodation I have stayed in for a very long time. »

« Standard of Hotel is high and loved communal Lounge and kitchen but did miss having personal contact as no reception. Had booked a Standard double with a Court yard view to find there was no such view as window had opaque glass also very disappointed to find window sealed so unable to have any fresh air into room so no natural ventilation .A fan is provided but not the same. Would stay again but only if a room with natural ventilation was available. I do believe this should be made clear in...

« Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended. »

« The staff was very very pleasant and welcoming including for our dog! They kept asking us if everything g was ok and helped us with the dinner in the bar because our dog wasn't admitted in the restaurant. Special thanks to Youssef for talking to us in french! i highly recommend this hotel ! »

« While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed...
