![Now begins my spring trip to Hunting Island. A trip full of birds, low country coastal views, great food, and memorable experiences. 

We start on the road to Hunting Island. This long highway to the coast had a couple stops, and this one was for the field of flowers. Just off the road I stopped and walked around these beauties. « Even while under lobby renovations, we found the convention center Marriott impeccably maintained. There was a weekend convention going on, but there was still parking in their garage. The pool and gym seemed to be closed due to the work going on. Great coffee at KC’s Korner and the location was an easy walk to local restaurants… :) »

« Séjour passable je dirai. j’ai mis 4 étoiles car le bâtiment reste beau et d’époque et le personnel est très sympa et services voiturier et dans le hall de l’hôtel ++ mais j’ai hésité à mettre 3 étoiles car je trouve que les travaux de rénovation dans les chambres ne sont pas de qualité et fait plus pensé à un hôtel 3 étoiles qu’un 4 étoiles. Il est sur côté je trouve. La peinture et l’équipement de la salle de bain ne sont pas signé d’un hôtel comme celui-ci! Odeur d’humidité dans la chambre...

« Voilà ce qui arrive lorsqu'on ne prend pas le temps de lire les avis des clients avant d'effectuer une réservation. Abords sales, portes dégoûtantes, serviettes plus grises que blanches et données au compte-gouttes. Comme produits de toilette une petite savonnette et rien de plus. Frigo tout rayé et en piteux état, micro-ondes idem, rideau de douche avec de grandes traînées noires, draps tachés et plus que défraîchis.... Meubles rayés, tachés.... La liste est longue ! Le petit déjeûner inclus...
