"Hotel staff was as friendly as could be. The rooms were clean as was the hotel itself. They have a free happy hour for guests and a complimentary breakfast that was pretty good as well. Will definitely stay again if I need to stay in Kilgore."

"Went to Texas for a funeral. Decided to give this hotel another try because we already had issues in the past. The room was ok except it smelled like mildew. Then after a long drive and even longer day, there was no hot water. Front desk said maintenance was offsite and nothing could be done. So had to go to family house to shower. Saturday prior to funeral at 11 AM shower was still cold. Nothing done. Right before checking out to go back to Ohio, AGAIN SHOWER WAS COLD. front desk said they were giving me a discount but they DID NOT. Said we’re so sorry. I scaled for a different room and due to capacity none were available, but they didn’t even try to fix it. Just go to Holiday inn. Doesn’t smell and I promise if something like this happens there, they get it fixed ASAP. So disappointed"

"Ideal home for our group! It was clean, in a good location, quick host response and appreciated the thoughtful goodies awaiting us. The porch area allowed former classmates attending their friend’s Celebration of Life time to catch/up & enjoy each other. Check in was a simple & organized as checkout. Maybe we’ll be back for the class reunion! Thank you!!"

"Great spot for two families traveling together with our dog and 4 kids. Home was clean, and worked great for our one-night stay in Kilgore. There are some recommended updates/repairs that need to be made so closet door shuts in a bedroom, but overall it worked out well for us. The host was quick to respond and the home had everything we needed."
