The Blue Moon in Prévost offers the perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility — just 45 minutes from Montréal and 5 minutes from the best seasonal sports. Imagine a peaceful retreat in nature, yet only minutes from restaurants, shops, and local attractions.
In winter, it’s even better. You’re perfectly positioned to enjoy top seasonal activities. Ski slopes and hiking trails are just minutes away, making it easy to combine a serene forest getaway with urban comforts and winter adventures.
With no neighbors at the back, the chalet opens onto a large lot ending in a stream that flows even in the coldest weather—an ideal setting to relax in the heart of winter! The private SPA is available year-round for ultimate comfort.
Just across the street, Lake Écho offers frozen lake walks, ice fishing, and occasionally skating if a trail is cleared by local Good Samaritans. The Lac Écho Recreation Center also features a skating rink and snowmobile access to the lake. Guests can also use the two pairs of snowshoes provided to explore the lake. For cross-country skiing, the famous P’tit Train du Nord trail is only 2 km away.
Nearby, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and shops of all kinds.
For Your Errands
If you’re coming from Montreal, we recommend stopping in the village of Prévost before arriving at the chalet, where you’ll find all the essentials (IGA, Metro, SAQ, butchers, etc.). For local specialties and treats, don’t miss Le P’tit Magasin Shawbridge (cold cuts, meats, pizzas, and craft beers) and Les Moulins La Fayette for fresh, delicious bakery items.
The chalet is not specifically intented for people in wheelchairs. But There are only two steps to climb to enter the house where there is a master bedroom and a bathroom adjoining the common areas which makes the ground floor accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The Blue Moon can comfortably accommodate 6 guests, and up to 8 with the double sofa bed in the converted garage living area.

*Main floor: Master bedroom with King bed
*Garden level: Queen bedroom with a 100-inch motorized screen, projector with Chromecast for Netflix/Bell Fibe, and a workspace for remote work
*Second floor: Loft bedroom with 2 single beds, including a trundle bed hidden underneath
*Garage: Living space with a double sofa bed, wood fireplace heated only, and supplementary heater.

Blue Moon is perfect for family getaways, friends, or couples, offering comfort, entertainment, and a warm, inviting setting in the heart of Prévost.
It is essential to have a vehicle to move around.
*Chalet Capacity – Up to 8 guests. Base rate for 4 occupants (ages 2 and up), with an additional charge per extra person.
*Hot Tub – Accessible and functional year-round.
*Campfire – In a barrel with wood provided. Guests are responsible for clearing snow to reach it.
*Dogs are welcome (max. 2) at $75 + tax per dog, but must stay on the main floor. Please keep dogs off sofas and beds, clean up after them outside, and if there’s noticeable shedding at checkout, a quick brush or lint roll is appreciated.
*Check-in / Check-out – Check-in from 5 p.m., check-out by 12 p.m. No Saturday arrivals or departures (exceptions possible upon request).
*Cameras – Outdoor only, facing the entrance. Recordings are kept for a maximum of 90 days.
*Pre-registration – Mandatory with ID to prevent fraud. Grants access to the Virtual Chalet Guide.
*Security Deposit – Pre-authorization on your card on arrival day, released after inspection of the property.
