"Our train-loving son was absolutely thrilled from the moment we arrived, and the rest of the family had just as much fun. Staying in an actual train car is such a unique experience, and Featherbed Railroad exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail is fantastic—train-themed touches are everywhere, from the bedsheets to the tablecloths, creating a fun and immersive atmosphere that railroad enthusiasts of any age will appreciate. One of our favorite features was the private dock on the lake. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to relax, enjoy the views, and spend time together as a family. The highlight of our stay, however, was the incredible staff. Everyone was exceptionally warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The freshly prepared breakfast each morning was delicious and added a personal touch that made the experience even more special. Oh, did I mention they have a book for you to log your paranormal activities experiences? If you have a train-loving child—or if you’re simply looking for a memorable and unique getaway—we highly recommend Featherbed Railroad."

"The Sunset Beach House and property were amazing as well as the private beach and dock across the way (very short walk).The open layout of the house provides for a true family vacation and every bedroom was large and comfortable. The upstairs master bedroom is incredible and all of the mattresses were great. The backyard and s large and fenced which gave our dogs room to roam. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and grill. All of us had a wonderful time."

"We needed a place to stay for one night while visiting for a graduation. We found the Regency to be clean and neat but very basic which suited our needs. It was close to restaurants and a grocery store. It worked fine for a short term stay. The rooms are old and could use an upgrade. The carpet needs to be replaced, but the price was right."
