"Home away from home, this lovely, back country studio apt. has everything needed for a comfortable stay close to ocean front, wharf, great walking paths, a full service grocery and a wonderful pub: all within five minutes. Totally marvellous host Cath was super reliable, welcoming and responsive as needed. It was neat as a pin, with a full service laundry so you can travel light! Lovely sunny porch and a friendly cat named Felicity. Some stairs but sturdy, with good support rail. Excellent reception and full service digital tv, many choices."

"Adele was very helpful finding support for us which we needed. The house was perfect for us. It contained every thing we needed over an extended stay. A comfortable space at a good location with easy access to all the highlights of Haida Gwaii. Plus walking distance to an excellent restaurant and the best grocery store on the island."

"We had a seven day stay and it was beautiful! The fire pit and picnic table sit right above the ocean, beautiful morning sunrises. The beach was also great for walking, really quiet area and calm seas. You could hear the ocean from the room!There was a little bit of occasional road noise but honestly, the highway is never busy! The ocean waved over ride noise from the road.It was a little tricky, finding a location, not marked from the road. Took a few tries to catch the driveway without having to turn around. The Wi-Fi is not fabulous on the island, we did not really have Wi-Fi during our stay, but we managed to have a few sent messages in the evening.The room was well appointed and really quaint, and well set up. Wish there was a little more area to sit things on like clothing or luggage. Most of our dining was outside. The outdoor shower worked well, not the most hot water, but did the job! We lit the fire in the cabin in the evenings to take the chill off, it was a very hot little fireplace, which is great! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

Ocean Front Log Cabin on Haida Gwaii

"This place was rustic but cozy. The location was absolutely perfect and having the ocean right outside the window was fabulous. The sunrises were spectacular. The beaches were all but deserted…of three days of walking on the beach for hours we only saw one other person the whole time. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding lovely. This is a very old cabin that has been partially renovated and seems it’s still in the midst of some renovations. The only complaint I have was with the plumbing. The water pressure was pretty poor, and the bathroom, which I believe was an add on to the building after the fact, was pretty rough. There was often a foul smell coming out of the drains in there. The shower is very rustic, and the water pressure in the sinks was just a trickle.I understand that due to the remoteness of the island that some fixes may be tougher than others. All in all, we really did enjoy our stay and can look past the shortcomings when you are surrounded by such beauty."

"We loved our stay in the tiny home, it had everyone we needed and more, not a detail was missed. The views of the trees out the windows were beautiful and it was a short walk to the beach, very central location."
