The drive-on beach is just a couple blocks away, a 2 minute drive from your door, the ultimate day in the sand and sun is just a stone's throw away! This 2017 build home features a welcoming open concept living room and state-of-the-art kitchen. A lofty balcony is elevated to maximize water and Galveston views. A cargo lift is available to help with carrying the gear to the 2nd floor. The ground floor patio is shaded and boasts a tiki bar, picnic table, grills (gas and charcoal) outdoor rinse-off shower, and is perfect for gathering with family and friends. Want more friends and family to join you? Check out The Pelican's Perch, just two doors down (Sleeps 12+, pets w restrictions) or Yeatha's Oasis is kitty-corner (Sleeps 8, no pets). The MOST comfortable beds, hands down!! The BEST kitchen setup of any rental home. Easy access to the beach with donuts, groceries, restaurants, and souvenirs close by. We had so much fun to watch the "parade" of golf carts heading to/from the beach from the upper deck. And the most amazing sunrises! A birdwatchers heaven sipping coffee from the upper deck at sunrise. (And if you don't claim to be a birdwatcher, dont be surprised if you become one once you see them up close in flight.) We had a small hiccup during our stay, and the host was super quick to respond with with a solution. Here's a few of our fave places close by: Bolivar Flatts: sunsets Tia Juanita's: dinner Harold's: coffee, fishing license/gear, and local "men's club" trash talk The BIG store: groceries/hardware/souvenirs and entertaining security door greeter Dannay's Donuts: cinnamon sugar cake donut Bolivar Escape Room: escape the heat for an hour of fun puzzle solving with your crew. Just down the road from the beach entrance, Lift was a life-saver, Kitchen was stocked, Plenty of Towels, Linens, extra pillows. We had 6 adults & 4 Kids(Ages 4-14)staying 4 days. Plenty of games, coloring supplies, beach toys. My niece did get a jellyfish sting while we were boogie-boarding at the beach, so be prepared. Plenty of Wildlife to be seen in the waterway beside the house: crabs, Frogs, Fish, Capybara family & racoons come out late at night to scavenge, so keep your trash picked up and in the bins. Big Store has everything you can think of, including fresh bakery, fresh pizza, Pineapple slicer, beach supplies, etc. Dollar general is just down the street too. We had 2 golf carts - these were definitely so fun and made the daily beach/bathroom trips so convenient. Kemah Boardwalk was so fun and about a 40min drive. Owners were super accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you for such a memorable experience for my family.
