Buckley's Beach: 2 BR, 2 BA House in Port Bolivar, Sleeps 6

  • Perfect for small families, this cute 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps 6 comfortably! The deck has plenty of furniture for sunbathing and dining "al fresco". Buckley's Beach is situated on the beach access road with views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico.

    The open living/dining/kitchen area has charming coastal decor, and comfortable seating for all, along with a smart TV. You'll like the fully stocked kitchen with all you need for meals, including both a regular drip and Keurig coffee pots. There is seating at the breakfast bar, as well as a separate dining table (also great for game nights). Extra conveniences like the on-site washer and dryer, and high speed internet, make your stay a breeze!
    The primary bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers two twin beds. Additional sleeping is available in the living area.

    The fully fenced yard is perfect for your kids and pets. The downstairs area also features room to grill on the charcoal barbecue pit, and extra seating. You'll appreciate the outdoor sand shower after a day on the beach.

    Small dogs (under 35 pounds) are allowed with a pet fee. No cats allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
    The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

The staff at the real estate office was great, the location of the house was great, the house had everything we needed. LOVED LOVED LOVED this mini vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of this house was perfect for beach access and views. House is spacious and overall stay was great. ONE drawback: The cloth furniture has been pretty abused - We did have to use coverings due to pet hair and deep stains. Swede's did respond immediatedly but they were unable to do anything other than give us extra sheets to cover the sofas.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The booking experience was easy. The challenge was making arrangements to get access to the property.We were told that there were no lock boxes to retrieve the key at the property. Someone from the management co called to see when we would be arriving and I told them. They had to get special permission to use the lock box at their office. This was granted, after about 10 minutes. Waiting for the ferry for about an hour, after a day of traveling, then having to drive an extra 10 minutes or so each way(that itself wasn't that terrible), just added to our already long day. We got in and things were nice and clean. Had to 1st make the beds, so we could get some rest. Stocked with plenty of plates and cups and accessories, however, no dish soap or garbage bags. We wer told that we must bring our own paper products (Toilet paper/Paper towels, etc and soap for washing ourselves). Oh, we had to stop at the store to grab these supplies, before checking in. Practically on the beach, the house was nice, clean and looked fresh. The kitchen faucet was pretty loose, so it flopped around a bit. The dishwasher wasn't fastened to the counter. All in all, nice place. Just make sure you have your supplies.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was exactly as described…very clean, well laid out, and close to the beach. Easy check in and check out. No issues. Great week and wish we were still there! And we got to see the Strawberry Moon!

The house was nice for the most part. It was pretty clean, minus a few things here and there, and a couple of windows left open that it resulted in a few infestations that we had to clean, but other than that, it was an absolutely wonderful stay
