« As a returning guest I was again not disappointed by this fabulous set up on the river. Everything we needed, great space to spend with the whole family, from the 1 yo to the 60 yo. The high chair and kids toys, games, colouring and cutlery make such a difference. The pizza oven a hit. Glorious views from the kitchen and balcony. A great base for us visiting Monarto and paddle steamer cruise. Will definitely come again. »

« Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway. »

« The elevated cottage is right on the river with direct access to the water. You can sit on the deck, sipping gin & tonics, catch fish from the private jetty, watch water activity and the majestic sunsets, it’s superb. « Disappointing to find both bathrooms on top level, bbq not great for even heat when cooking breakfast for 8, stove top not all elements work, oven small to cook roast for 8, no steamer for steaming vegetables. Spiders in downstairs toilet and nowhere to wash hands after being to downstairs toilet, could not turn on wash basin tap (arthritis hands) so had to wash them in kitchen sink, not hygenic. A bit disappointing for what I read and saw to what it was. Would not book again though. We did have...
