"Cozy Cabin Getaway We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The location was perfect for visiting our daughter and her military boyfriend. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved the peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend! "

"Gilmore House is a lovely comfortable property with a huge hilly yard opening up to great views. The home is full of antiques and interesting historical pictures that you could spend hours perusing. A generous starter of food and snacks was most appreciated. Most significantly, Laura and Martin are terrific hosts and super interesting people and went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we needed. They are what makes VRBO a great traveling tool."

"The hotel expensive for what you get. This was a good stay with good rooms and pretty good coffee as part of the continental breakfast. I do think it’s overpriced though for the ‘north pole’ experience & the hotel’s location on the back side of the strip mall. …Just my opinion. Thx."

"The property was lovely! Very spacious, clean, and had all we needed for our stay. The hosts were very attentive and made the stay very easy. We saw moose eating a few miles up Chena Hot Springs road which was the cherry on top. Definitely recommend and if we are ever this far North again, would choose to stay here all over. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Very nice place. Very glad I didn’t stay in downtown Fairbanks. It was super nice cooking dinner over an open campfire. I do wish there was a little less traffic noise, but this place is definitely a keeper."
