"Stayed for two nights while visiting Cadaques, Llanca, and Port de Selva. Great location to explore all these areas.

- Friendly staff, particularly David who was most helpful
- short drive to all three locations above.
- Medieval feel as the rooms are attached to a winery. The building is very old.

- Bed was quite firm, common in Europe.

"We had a great stay at this vacation home. Everything necessary was available and the home was even more beautiful as described. Also it was very clean!!!The communication with the owner was very punctual.I read in the comments that some people did not like the contact person living downstairs at the pool level but this didn't bother us at all. He was hardly ever at home and when he was, he was very discrete and helpfull.An extra airco unit in the children's bedroom does seem necessary however when the outside temperature is above 30C.During our stay a lot of construction works of new vacation homes were ongoing in the street which did create a noise problem. But al together we didn't let it bother us and we enjoyed our time on the terrace.This place helped us discover Cadaqués and the beautiful surroundings and we will always keep warm memories of our stay here."
"Nice views from the top of the hill and a chance to catch a sea breeze. A bit of a walk back up the hill from the restaurants and bars but good exercise so we didn't mind. The hotel and rooms were beautifully airconditioned."
"Really beautiful location. Bit of a walk (uphill both ways somehow) from the city center but there’s beaches on both sides. Very friendly staff. Excellent customer service. I ended up extending my stay and they were very accommodating. Onsite restaurant was great! "
"Overall had a good stay despite checking in late (9:30/10pm) and the lobby being closed. Eventually got a hold of the staff by calling. Apparently the phone number I’d put in wasn’t working when they tried to call me.
There is basically no parking near this hotel but a free lot a 5 min walk away which is not obvious if you’ve never been to the city before - it would be nice if this was noted on the listing or confirmation page as we arrived late and ended up on a very narrow street and had to back out of it.
Overall the rook was adequate, staff was very nice and ac/hot water worked great. The breakfast was not included for us but was quite good. "
"My wife and I had the most pleasant stay at Casa Arena. It was clean, beautifully presented with additional amenities that made you feel like you were staying in a luxury resort. The location of the apartment was amazingly ideal. Only an 3 minute walk from the city parking lot where you have to park to enter the town, and another 3 minutes to the waterfront. The only issue I would say is the mildew-y smell of the unit. Because its situated inside a very old building, the place doesn't have great ventilation and as such has a little must smell. But you quickly get over it. Everything else was super new and clean and we had great sleeps. Plus, we we'ren;t inside much anyways :) I would highly recommend to friends or happily stay again. "
