« Pour un hôtel de cette classe, nous étions décus: propre, mais pas soigné, service peu attentif par rapport aux demandes que nous avons formulées (et nous ne sommes pas exigeants), toilettes défectueuses, piscine pas très propre (caca de pigeons) et sans serviettes à disposition, personnel dépassé par les événements pour rien (8 tables occupés au petit déjeuner, c'était trop pour 2 serveurs, ils étaient en stress...), une gestion de l'établissement à la hâte. Dommage. »

« Each time am in Mumbai am staying for a few days in Mantra Hostel and the moment am reaching it after the long journey I have the feeling of being "back home". The staff are excellent: kind, helpful, patient. Rooms are very clean as well as beds and bathrooms. The very location is cool as well, offering a quick access to the airport, train stations or long distance bus stops. Also, the travellers who choose Mantra are mostly very friendly, inspiring and energetic, it is easy to make friends here...

« J’ai bénéficié d’une belle chambre vue mer, spacieuse, propre dans l’ensemble. Gros point négatif : le petit déjeuner. La salle est beaucoup trop petite, pas de place assise, je devais attendre qu’une table se libère mais étant pressé par le temps et un rendez vous professionnel, j’ai demandé de prendre un café à emporter. 2eme point noir, une seule machine à café à disposition qui met un temps fou à sortir une tasse donc temps d’attente encre une fois ridicule. « They are the cheaters, they took extra Rs.6000/- from me. Though I had booked the room for one day. I am going to send legal notice to Expedia & Svenska Hotel. I have video recordings along with proof of local police. Hotel management blaming Expedia for all troubles. They have traumatized both me & my wife. My blood pressure went high & they put me under depression & they collected extra Rs.6000/- My submission to you is either Expedia or Hotel Svensk had to refund my money & apology. Else...

« Both the room and the hotel could use a makeover. The friendliness of the staff and management made up for the deficiency in the hotel decor. Specially if one was too consider the cost for the superior room was just INR 6500\. The room was spacious with a round table and two comfortable chairs. We stayed for 5 days and 2 of those days, we got some delicious dosas otherwise the breakfast was just meh. »

6/10 Acceptable

"J’ai bénéficié d’une belle chambre vue mer, spacieuse, propre dans l’ensemble. Gros point négatif : le petit déjeuner. La salle est beaucoup trop petite, pas de place assise, je devais attendre qu’une table se libère mais étant pressé par le temps et un rendez vous professionnel, j’ai demandé de prendre un café à emporter. 2eme point noir, une seule machine à café à disposition qui met un temps fou à sortir une tasse donc temps d’attente encre une fois ridicule. On m’apporte mon café dans un gobelet avec un couvercle beaucoup trop grand donc impossible de partir en voiture avec. Je demande un couvercle adapté, un serveur part et reviens 5min plus tard avec un mug en porcelaine…bref je suis parti sans déjeuner. 2eme jour meme chose, j’ai pu m’asseoir mais la salle de petit déjeuner était dans un état lamentable, des liquides au sol épongés par des serviettes laissées à même le sol…les tables pas débarrassées…service totalement dépassé. Côté qualité et variété du petit déjeuner, passable. L’environnement de l’hôtel est bien, au calme, sauf qu’il y a des rassemblements sur la plage la nuit et cela peut être assez bruyant (j’ai eu droit aux feux d’artifice à 1h30 du matin). Bref je regarderai d’autres établissements la prochaine fois que je viens à Mumbai. "
