"Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. "A Lovely Stay in the Heart of Town ❤️ From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Every receptionist spoke really good English, which made everything so easy, and they always greeted us with a lovely smile. 😊 The hotel is in the heart of the town, which is very convenient for exploring and getting around. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable, so we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was okay and had enough choices to start the day. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really appreciated the warm and friendly service from all the reception staff. I would happily stay here again. 😊"

"We had stayed at SH decades ago when our kids were little. I chose to revisit with my wife last weekend to celebrate my 64th birthday. The hotel has a slight quirkiness due to its personal service but that is a big part of its charm. We had a beautiful meal in Aquitaine and lovely breakfasts in the bistro. Our room in the annex was a beautiful, spacious, spotless room with SuperKing bed, fabulous en-suite with special shower-bath. All the staff have genuine and generous interest and care for the guests. The hotel location in sleepy Seaview is perfect for us. We did a fantastic walk along the coast from the SH one day with a packed lunch from Lily’s Cafe 100m up the High Street. We were also able to visit many lovely places on the island, all within a maximum of 1hr drive. We’ll be back."

"We had a wonderful holiday in Ryde. We were a 3 generational family and the Isle of Wight offered plenty of activities for all of us. The children particularly enjoyed Robin Hill and Tapnell Farm. The adults really appreciated lunch and cocktails at the Dell, just a short walk away from the house. The house is exceptionally large with well proportioned rooms and plenty of space for everyone. We were blessed with good weather and the pool really came into its own."

The only thing that i might comment on - which we coped with fine but it would be good to review the beds - the large room up stairs and the smaller room downstairs have very soft beds- obviously that is personal preference but they are not very supportive. everything else is utter heaven. hugest thanks again ps did you see that the radiator in the downstairs communal shower room needs a screw - top left?"
