Everything about our stay at the Boat House Hotel in Seaview was perfect. The room was lovely — spotless, comfortable, and full of character. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the hotel at such a high standard. The hospitality was second to none. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and couldn’t do enough for us. A special mention as my wife accidentally left her toiletry bag behind, and the hotel very kindly returned it to us in the post without any fuss at all — an incredibly thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. We wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this hotel. Nothing wrong with the room, the service let it down. In the evening I stood at the bar nearly half an hour waiting to order food, only one person serving and I couldn’t blame her she was trying. So I went elsewhere. Twice I asked about the time breakfast started and both times I was told 8.00\. At 8.15 in the morning the door to the restaurant was still locked, so I just left as I had a job to get to. An excellent overnight stay ##### mark Séjour de 1 nuit en juillet 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Neil 11 juill. 2024 Points forts : Propreté, service et personnel, état et installations de l’hébergement et confort de la chambre. #### Great place for a calm seaside stay Lovely property, fairly recently refurbished, right across the road from the beach. it’s located just between Ryde and Seaview, both of which are accessible via the coastal path. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated giving it a calm ambience. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. Kind & helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble.
