With 1.9 miles (3 kilometers) of broad, sandy beach, there’s plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the views of the broad bay enclosed by the Beecroft Peninsula. Go for a leisurely walk along the foreshore pathway, which is shaded by swaying she-oak trees. Make your way onto the white sands of Collingwood Beach to pick a spot to lay down your towel. Low dunes and a pretty strip of trees border the foreshore. Cool off with a swim in the clear waters or play in the warm shallows.
