"Good location, nice reception, rooms need a refurbishment. Towel rail not working. Room was cold . I believe the house control the heating and didn't have it switched on to cut costs. Summer stay would be ok."

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. We like it a lot. The location is great for the city centre and also for getting to Meadowhall. It’s not far to walk to the universities so it’s great for open day visits. There’s also on-site parking for £15 per day. We particularly like having the convenience of breakfast included. Our stay was perfect."

"There is no onsite parking. Road only. Upon our arrival we noticed the unkempt state of the property both outside and in. The room was filty, carpets dirty and not hoovered, rust on the bed frame and it felt like it was going fall apart at any moment, I dared guess as to the age and condition of the matress, dirty skirting boards and shower screen and walls. There is only one shared bathroom between all the rooms and an extra toilet. Apart from the general disgust of the property, we also observed several unsavoury characters outside and also entering the property. One person in particular looked very inebriated slumped over a garbage bin. I would give this place 0 out of five stars if i could."

"The hotel is situated by Sheffield Quays and is 10 minute walk to the city centre. We paid £130 for a room on a Saturday night. Parking £10 night, They wanted another £25 for the dog which is double what most hotels charge. Breakfast is £10/head extra. All these extra charges does NOT make this a budget hotel Parking is not strainght forward. - there ae 7 allocated slots at the front of the Hotel that are usually full. NCP is at the back of the hotel but you have to walk through where the cars enter the building, as the pedestrian entrace would not recognise the ticket. Check in was easy enough without a queue. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. but the bathroom extractor did not work, The shower head was damaged and would only operate on very hot. There is no Aircon so this room so it would be stifiling in the summer. However we were situated by the fire door that banged most of the night with noisy guests using it. I would rate this hotel at Mid 3 stars "

"Basic room but ideal for one night. Very close to the arena. Would forego the breakfast as I don’t think it’s is worth £8.95 at all, some bread, muffins croissants cereal cheese ham cucumber and pepperoni. Save yourself the money and go to the nearby food places which are a 2 min walk away. Otherwise, clean and friendly staff."
