"Great base for a short stay. Had been to see an act at Sheffield City Hall as well as see my daughter at uni there. Great central position. Not the owners fault, but as a single female could see how could be a little intimidated, two lads were sat legs out their window by the main entrance as I walked my daughter to friends around 11pm. "

"Good location, nice reception, rooms need a refurbishment. Towel rail not working. Room was cold . I believe the house control the heating and didn't have it switched on to cut costs. Summer stay would be ok."

"Breakfast was lousy no glasses no coffee cups toaster was useless put timer on for 6 mins and inly slightly browned on 1 side not much choice on menu eggs omelette and plain porridge needles to say we wasted our money on breakfast "

"The hotel is situated by Sheffield Quays and is 10 minute walk to the city centre. We paid £130 for a room on a Saturday night. Parking £10 night, They wanted another £25 for the dog which is double what most hotels charge. Breakfast is £10/head extra. All these extra charges does NOT make this a budget hotel Parking is not strainght forward. - there ae 7 allocated slots at the front of the Hotel that are usually full. NCP is at the back of the hotel but you have to walk through where the cars enter the building, as the pedestrian entrace would not recognise the ticket. Check in was easy enough without a queue. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. but the bathroom extractor did not work, The shower head was damaged and would only operate on very hot. There is no Aircon so this room so it would be stifiling in the summer. However we were situated by the fire door that banged most of the night with noisy guests using it. I would rate this hotel at Mid 3 stars "

"Basic room but ideal for one night. Very close to the arena. Would forego the breakfast as I don’t think it’s is worth £8.95 at all, some bread, muffins croissants cereal cheese ham cucumber and pepperoni. Save yourself the money and go to the nearby food places which are a 2 min walk away. Otherwise, clean and friendly staff."
