we all had an amazing time at this resort and its a great location to visit the other wonderful sites in Peru such as Huacachina- the lagoon in the desert, islas ballestes and of course the Nazca Lines

First night started off not perfectly due to some other guests in the hotel. Hotel staff were very accommodating and made the rest of our entire stay very enjoyable. This is a great place to stay and if any issues arise all staff are more then willing to help in any way that they can.

The ocean was visible from my room, what I didn't like was the people at the reception office. they seem not to know what they were doing. My room was not ready, they told me at 3 pm and when I came back at 3:30 it was still not available even when the property was not full. The lady at the front told me that it seems people did not check out on time but that is poor management, when I insisted, she magically gave me the room with an annoyed face and did not said anything after she just dismissed me. The people at the restaurant were fantastic very amicable and respectful. I feel people at reception has to be better trained since they are the first encounter.

The property its ok. The staff is fantastic. However It's not a good value for what you pay. We paid $380 a night and what we received I would value at $150-$200. The food it's ok and if you go with kids they don't have even a kids place.

Nice stay at Hyatt Paracas Legend. Lovely pool and staff, we enjoyed the stay greatly (with spouse and two grown children). We had oceanfront rooms which were large and clean. The rooms are a little dated, but kept up nicely. I believe the rooms will be renovated soon though as Hyatt just bought the property and has plans to renovate. We enjoyed dune buggy riding/sand surfing. The large island was closed due to winds so only could go to the smaller one, that boat trip I can’t really recommend as we saw very little wildlife (4 sea lions, a few birds, and one penguin) and it was freezing. We spent one full day doing nothing at the hotel pool and the adult kids and we really enjoyed our relaxing day there. Hotel food is ok, we actually had better luck with things we ordered from the pool menu over the restaurant Azul menu. Beautiful hotel, recommend.
