Hotel Vale

Hotel Vale

10/10 Excellent
"One of the best hotels in Sarande, and that I have been to in Albania. The location is on the beach, and easy to walk everywhere. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful - really ensures your stay is enjoyable. It was very clean, amenities were luxury and the breakfast was very nice considering it is a buffet. Worth the money and would recommend!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Piqeras?
The best area to stay in Piqeras is along the coastline, particularly near Bunec Beach, for breathtaking views and direct access to the Ionian Sea.

This area is characterised by its stunning natural beauty, with crystal-clear waters and pebbled beaches. Accommodations here often boast panoramic sea views and are designed to blend with the natural surroundings. It's a quieter part of the Albanian Riviera, superb for those seeking relaxation away from more crowded tourist spots.

For couples looking for a romantic escape, staying near Bunec Beach offers a serene environment. You can enjoy peaceful strolls along the shore, dine at charming local tavernas with fresh seafood, and watch spectacular sunsets over the Ionian Sea. The secluded coves nearby provide intimate spots for swimming and sunbathing.

Families will also find this coastal area appealing due to its calmer atmosphere. Many properties offer direct beach access or are a short walk away, making it easy to manage children and beach gear.
When is the best time to go to Piqeras?
The best time to visit Piqeras is during the shoulder seasons, specifically from late April to early June or from early September to late October.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm without being excessively hot, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Albanian Riviera and enjoying the beaches. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience. Accommodation and activity prices are also generally more favourable.

For those looking to enjoy the sea and water activities, the water temperature is comfortable for swimming from June through September. However, July and August can be quite busy and hot, with temperatures often exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. If you don't mind the heat and the buzz, these months offer the liveliest atmosphere with all facilities fully operational.

Conversely, the winter months, from November to March, see cooler temperatures and many businesses, particularly those geared towards tourism, may be closed.
