This review is less about the property itself than it is about the staff. When we arrived we were greeted by the front desk staff who asked us to sit in the common room while we waited for her colleague. The common room was very nice - all shared accomodations and things to do. I noticed they had beach towels available for guests to use which is very kind. Everything I saw was very clean and tidy. Lovely property! Ana was great!

Our room had a patio with sliding doors overlooking the ocean! Gorgeous!!! There is a central kitchen that guests can use to make meals and lots of great places to sit. The staff are amazing. They help to call taxis, provide laundry service and any other help you may need. The owner came by regularly to check on how things were going and was easy to access.

This is an excellent place to stay! The amenities are fantastic, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They let my friend and me use the spa on our check-out day while we waited for our airport transfer, which was such a nice touch. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, the rooms are spacious, and the outdoor pool is lovely. I highly recommend staying here!

I can't say enough good things about this place. The accommodations were well appointed and spotless. The staff member Elisabete went way above and beyond to make our stay outstanding. Can't wait to go back to this beautiful island and this fantastic place.

This place was amazing! It’s right by the water, with the ferry literally at your doorstep. Waking up each morning was great, especially with the waterfront views of Faial. They have coffee available 24/7 and pastries in the morning, plus a few local shops nearby for food, delicious may I add! I stayed in the basement and it was great. Staff made our week there wonderful

Wow, this hotel has some of of the best hotel staff I have experienced (the bartender was a bit maudlin for 11pm on a Saturday), amazing location, great pool and lots of breakfast. My air conditioner was leaking - they came and fixed it and even left me an extra large towel if it acted up.
