The backyard is amazing and includes multiple seating areas with a fire table and outdoor heater which was great to have on the cooler evenings. Everything was comfortable and well taken care of. The only two things that I would like to mention, the two steps from the dining room to the living room or relatively hard to see, especially at night. I have put a large bag on the step just to visually remind me of the steps. One other small item is the toilet bowls are very low. Other than those items, everything else was very good. It was perfect for our family of four. The bedrooms and living area were good sized and we enjoyed the heated back patio. The kitchen was well stocked. Only constructive suggestion would be to get a new coffee maker as we weren’t able to make the pods work. Also, unfortunately, the community hot tub and pool broke down during our stay (no heating) and we weren’t able to fully enjoy that amenity. Not the owners’ fault but disappointing nonetheless. Check in and communication with Carolyn and Aric was easy and immediate. The location next to the bike path was so fun. The home comes with 4 bikes, so we used them often. Even biked into Old Town for lunch. We really loved the central location - easy drive to Old Town and North for hiking and golf. The home was immaculate and up to date. Both mattresses and bedding were very comfortable. Very clean with new furniture, accessories and kitchen items. The patio is amazing with lots of seating, easy to use fire pit and a heater. We had a very lovely stay at the Santa Fe property: the house is gorgeous, clean, nicely appointed and conveniently located near biking and walking trails, golf courses, restaurants and one of the most desirable areas of Scottsdale. The property comes also with access to a spa and swimming pool. The patio is very enjoyable, private and quiet: we had breakfast and a few meals in the privacy of the backyard. The only minor issue is that we were not able to operate the patio gas fire pit, the hot tub and other amenities but it was not a big deal as we had plenty of other enjoyable activities. We exchanged text messages with the owners who seem very nice; they left a bottle of wine and water for us upon our arrival, which was a very nice touch. ##### Cinzia S. Easy access to restaurants and walking/biking paths Our experience was excellent and we would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a get away. Pedal bikes are included for use and this is a wonderful perk. We regularly visit friends in Scottsdale and always stay in Santa Fe homes so we have seen a few different designs and layouts. This was by far, one of the nicest and well appointed of any we have stayed. Kitchen is beautiful and well appointed, living room very comfortable and the bedrooms spacious with comfortable beds. (I cannot say that about all past Santa Fe units!) And you cannot beat the location, so close to shops, restaurants and activities! Carolyn was the perfect hostess and made us feel very welcome!
