Très dépaysant dans une réserve. Mieux vaut avoir un bon 4x4 car il y a pas mal de piste pour y accéder. Sinon accueil très chaleureux. Très bonne literie.

Goed zwembad. Kans om wild (olifanten,giraffen lopen door het park) te spotten vanuit je luie stoel. Veel buitenruimte bij het huisje waar je savonds heerlijke kan braaien.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help us. Excellent chef who asked what type of food we would like to eat - we asked for African as we wanted to taste authentic food from this area of the world and he came up trumps everyday. Wildlife on your doorstep and the lodge arranged reasonable priced safaris and trips for us

Sehr schöne Umgebung direkt am Krüger Park. Abends und morgens kommen die Tiere direkt vor die Lodge. Die Lodge war gut ausgestattet, sodass man auch Essen kochen kann. Die Lodges sind weit auseinander und man hat das Gefühl allein zu sein. Wer Ruhe sucht und die Nähe zu Tieren mag, ist einfach hier gut aufgehoben. Die Touren (6 Std Game Drive, Day Walk) haben wir über Sanparks gebucht und sind zum Treffpunkt an das Phalaborwa Gate gefahren. Die Schotterpiste dahin von etwa 7 km ist aber eine Zumutung. Die Straße wurde einfach schlecht abgezogen und das Schild vibrierte. D.h. die Piste besteht aus lauter Rillen. Egal ob man 20 kmh oder 40 kmh fährt, die Kontrollleuchte (Federung) in Auto leuchtete einfach auf.

Tolle Lage , etwas für Ruhesuchende

Anfahrt über eine nichtgeteerte Straße , aber auch für nicht 4 x 4 gut zu erreichen, ( für Afrika in einem guten Zustand ) ,gut gesichert mit bewachtem Einfahrtstor . Rezeptionistin freundlich und hilfsbereit , brachte uns mit eigenem Fahrzeug zum Chalet . Haus recht groß, riesige Terrasse mit Bestuhlung. Grill wurde umgehend herbeigeschafft.

Our little house in the bush

Had a wonderful time, with the privacy this accommodation provided, was an excellent getaway. The Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger Park was less than 10 minutes away. Take note that the last stretch of road is unpaved, and so essential to go at 60kmh or above to ride over the bumps. Was able to do this without a problem in my saloon car. Spotted Elephant, deer and hyena within the estate gates. And the pools were large and good for me an my toddler as well

Surprisingly spacious chalets

Very spacious and nicely designed chalets wit appealing outside areas for each chalet. Had an issue with the bathtub path that was resolved immediately, and staff also provided help on a low pressure tyre within minutes! Cannot find better service! Highly recommended.

geweldige vakantie met gezin (kinderen 15 en 13). omgeving is prachtig wilde zwijnen, herten en prachtige vogels tot bij het huisje heerlijk zwembad om te relaxen huisje van alle gemakken voorzien

Très confortable au milieu des animaux sauvages

Très bien, logement très spacieux, piscine agréable ! Le propriétaire est même venu discuter avec nous au petit déjeuner : sympa. La nuit, on entend et on voit parfois les animaux (antilope, phacochère) rôder autour : génial !

Excellent rapport qualité/prix aux portes du Kruge

Accueil très chaleureux dans ce resort frontalier du Parc Kruger. Superbes gites individuels avec cuisine complète, et deux belles piscines avec vue sur le Kruger. Un peu excentré (accès via une piste de 7 KM - tout à fait carrossable avec un véhicule de tourisme) mais une très belle adresse pour le prix.

einfache, aber komfortable Lodge in der Natur

Die Lodge ist die perfekte Wahl, wenn man eine Unterkunft in der Natur sucht, die allen nötigen, aber keinen überflüssigen Komfort bietet. Die Abstände zwischen den Häusern sind groß, so dass es sehr ruhig ist. Durch die Nähe zum Krüger Nationalpark kommen Tiere wie Antilopen und Elefanten manchmal auf das Gelände. Zwei schön gelegene Swimming Pools und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal runden den Aufenthalt ab. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Geweldig verblijf,super vriendelijke ontvangts!prachtige huisjes,zeg maar gerust villa´s.nederlandse eigenaren die erg behulpzaam zijn en excursies voor je regelen.ligt in een reservaat waardoor je mooie dieren tegen kunt komen.er heerst heerlijke rust.iedereen aan te raden!!

No Air Conditioning, Terrible Dirt Road

They advertise on Expedia that they have air conditioning in their bedrooms. This is not true. It is unbelievably hot in this area and air conditioning is essential. They are also far out of town on a very bad dirt road. Driving out there is no fun. There are also no restaurants in the same hemisphere. They do not tell you that check in closes at 5 p.m. If you get there after 5 p.m., and need to try and call them, the chances are your cell phone will not work.

splendido, ma complicato da raggiungere

Il posto è fantastico. Ma a una condizione importante. Farsi spiegare bene dal simpaticissimo proprietario come raggiungerlo. E' lontano qualche km dal paese, lungo una strada sterrata, senza indicazioni. Di sera possono esserci problemi. Ma ripeto, se si ha il telefono e ci si fa spiegare bene la strada, il posto è magnifico.

It was a very nice place to stay.

The owners were very friendly. They made us feel very welcome and we appreciated that. The house we stayed in was very nice. Over all, it was a wonderful experience.
