« Arrived late in the day and was welcomed by the owner and taken to our room, it was super spotlessly clean and smelt really nice, very comfortable bed and awesome shower perfect room for 2 Next morning we were greeted with a friendly smile and a good morning then told breakfast was included in our room rate, we were given a small but super tasty menu and cooked a very fresh and super tasty breakfast by the other owner and delivered with a friendly smile and enjoy and it filled the spot, awesome...

« Jan and Graeme were great hosts. Unfortunately, we missed the wine tasting on the first night, however were pleasantly surprised when we attended our second night. Great discussions and selection of wines. The room was very cosy and secure with everything we needed and the BBQ was great for what we needed. Indulged in a spa on site and again were impressed by the property. Would definitely go back. »

« I had a lovely albeit short stay at Hawkdun Rise. Suzanne and John are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. The interior could be slightly more modern for my personal taste but everything was very clean and well kept. And you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into creating a space in which their guests can feel comfortable and welcome. Need to try their Gewürztraminer! »
