"Katie and all her staff are friendly, polite and funny, it was like walking into your friend's house and staying overnight with the added benefit of excellent food and good cider to top it all off, the welcome we received was warm and friendly from the moment we walked through the doors until the moment we sadly had to leave to continue our journey and Dawn on breakfast service was an absolute star and a font of all local knowledge. The rooms are comfortable, clean and ideal for resting after enjoying a few rattlers in the bar. There is nothing negative I can say about this amazing pub/hotel, we will most certainly be visiting again if we are ever back down in the area."
Charming cottage, spectacular uninterrupted sea views of Bay & St Michaels Mount

"We had a wonderful stay overall. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and cleaning up, but the true highlight is the breathtaking balcony view of the ocean and St Michael’s Mount.A few practical notes for future guests:•Interior & Privacy: The cottage is a bit dated and would benefit from a modern refresh. Also, note that the neighbouring balcony at Trevara directly overlooks the downstairs main bedroom, so you’ll need to draw the curtains when changing.•Parking & Access: The alleyway to the rear parking space is extremely narrow. Despite the listed 2-metre width limit, it was a terrifyingly tight squeeze in our Porsche Macan (see photos!). The public car park is an alternative, but it's a long walk with heavy luggage and groceries.•Neighbouring Access: Upon arrival, the guests at Trevara mistakenly told us we couldn't use the garden for unloading. While we clarified that we had full access for check-in and check-out, it was an awkward exchange. It might be worth updating Trevara’s guest guide to clarify this shared access.•Local Amenities: Marazion no longer has a local convenience store or off-license, so plan to drive a few miles to the nearest supermarket for groceries.•Dining: We highly recommend The King's Arms—we ate there twice and the food was outstanding!"

"Had a lovely stay at this 1-bed cabin near Penzance! It was very clean and cosy, and made for a really comfortable base while exploring the area. The host was super friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the whole experience even better. Great private garden too, and having secure parking was a nice bonus. The only downside was ventilation - the only window in the whole cabin was in the bathroom, so it did get a bit stuffy and warm inside at times. Might be worth bearing in mind if you're visiting in warmer weather. That said, it didn't take away from what was otherwise a great stay, and I'd happily recommend it."

"I found the facilities clean and in good shape. However, some fans from neighbours rooms were too noisy for the entire night, affecting the quality of my sleep. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. A small disappointment about the fact that Hotels.com presented the room with bathtub, while in fact I got a room with shower only, and there was no availability for swapping it. Overall, a good hotel."
