"We had a wonderful family holiday here. We are so glad we booked this place instead of the one on the nearby city Miskolc. The pool and jacuzzi was so much fun for our kids and the food was remarkable. The steak and chips was so delicious! The Gypsy pork chops are making me want to drive back for another holiday! I highly recommend this place if one is looking for a local Hungarian experience with an incredibly supportive and loving hotel team! We will definitely be back next year! "

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Pere?
The best area to stay in Pere is the village centre, particularly around Fő utca (Main Street), which offers the most convenience and access to local amenities.

This central area is the heart of Pere, featuring the main shops, the local church, and any eateries. It's a small, walkable village, so staying here means you're never far from anything. Fő utca itself is the primary thoroughfare, where you'll find most of the village's services. For visitors seeking a relaxed, authentic experience in a Hungarian village, this is the ideal spot.

Couples looking for a quiet retreat will find the village centre appealing. You can enjoy strolls through the village, visit the local points of interest, and experience the slow pace of rural life. It's an excellent base for exploring the nearby BĆ¼kk National Park if you're interested in nature and outdoor activities.

Solo travellers who appreciate a peaceful environment and local interaction will also enjoy staying in Pere's centre.
When is the best time to go to Pere?
The best time to visit Pere, Borsod, Hungary, for pleasant weather and outdoor activities is typically from late spring, through summer, into early autumn, specifically from May to September.

This period is ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside, visiting local vineyards, or enjoying gentle walks. The landscape is lush and green, and there are often local festivals celebrating the arrival of spring and early summer.

Many local attractions, such as the thermal baths in nearby Miskolctapolca, are in full swing. Families often find these months suitable due to school holidays, offering plenty of options for outdoor adventures and relaxed evenings.
