We travelled with friends and we each had a room on the 5th floor of Albert House. Rooms were smaller than expected (especially the toilet area). We couldn’t stand up from the toilet without opening the separate WC door. Very small and we are not big people. The bed in room 504 was very comfortable. We enjoyed a good sleep each of the four nights we were there. Room 504 was significantly bigger than 502. Breakfast was good — not a huge selection but it was certainly sufficient for us to have some choices on the different mornings we were there. We loved the coffee machine. The breakfast attendant was pleasant and efficient too. It was convenient that the breakfast room was on the first floor of Albert House. The location was fine for us as our focus was to explore the 11 arrondissement and the Marais. Could be a better hotel if more care was taken to make the place look well maintained and care for.

This hotel was recently purchased. I stay at the Hotel Gabriel every time I go to Paris. It was quaint, great staff, really nice rooms with balconies, good price, great breakfast and a wine bar. The new owners, New Hotel Republique have ruined it. The staff is not friendly OR helpful and my room (a premium room) was dark face a wall and I had to go across the street for breakfast at the sister hotel. DO NOT STAY THERE!

Beautiful and excellent hotel. The room was so luxurious, the bed was very comfy, close to the metro so using Google Maps you can get to and from top places like the Tour Eiffel and Champs Élysées.

Cool hotel with old world charm that is very walkable and close to some cool things. The room was very comfortable with nice linens and a comfortable bed and desk area. they boasted nice views as well. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of great options. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

the room was a little small but had everything we needed. Very good shower and hot water. Good daily cleaning. Elevator small but very useful. The only negative thing: breakfast was very basic, the "egg porrige" was terrible - plain boiled eggs would be much better

The locations is excellent and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely small and the bathrooms even smaller. If you are taller you cannot use the bathroom comfortably. In the morning there is no hot water! Shower at night!

Breakfast was much better than expected given the previous reviews. Fresh fruit/yoghurts. Nice fresh breads, cheese etc. scrambled eggs and lots of pastry choices..Room configuration was strange as had to enter through en-suite to get to bedroom? Toilet cublicke cramped, shower lovely. Bedroom was lovely, but dark. No fridge and remote didn’t match TV but not an issue. Hotel staff very helpful and felt very safe and secure. Ordered shuttle bus for our airport return.
