"One of the oldest hotels in Launceston, with very friendly staff, who were eager to assist us. Our room was clean and suited our needs. Walking distance from many attractions in Launceston. "
"Comfortable, old-style hotel in downtown Launceston with welcoming staff and clean, spacious rooms. The Avis desk in the foyer is convenient if you are picking-up a hire car from the city rather than the airport. The hotel was quite busy with a largish tour group the night of our stay. Space in the lounge area adjacent to the bar was consequently a bit limited until they went to dine. "
" Good amenities such as microwave and fridge ,cutleries.
The only problem was the noise at night from the cars outside . Windows are old and thin . You need ear plugs . "
"If we could give this property more than 5 stars we would do so. It was exceptionally clean and well appointed. We felt comfortable and special with the beautiful bottle of wine and the invitation to try some of the veggies from the veggie garden. This property is close to all amenities and attractions and the instructions provided by Rikki and Chris helped us to find our way around Launceston and surrounds. We would highly recommend this property. "
