Mariane & Corentin open the doors of a charming 1930s residence, carefully restored & revamped, nestled in the heart of a peaceful residential area adjoining the center of the famous sanctuary city "du Sacré Cœur" and its amenities (bus stop 200m away), a stone's throw from the perfectly preserved gentle Charolais countryside (partly protected in various Natura 2000 & ZNIEFF Zones for its wealth of fauna & flora), verdant bocage dotted with bucolic rivers, ponds and vast wild forests (including the nearby Bois des Aisances). A mecca of Romanesque art located in the "Land of Art and History", this charming village nestled on the banks of the famous Canal du Centre has a literally exceptional heritage (Basilica of the Sacred Heart from the end of the 11th century, a masterpiece of Romanesque art, the best preserved Cluniac architecture in Burgundy, Eucharistic Museum of Hiéron, the oldest museum of sacred art in France, etc.) as well as all the amenities and leisure facilities. Spacious, comfortable gîte. Beautiful, bright living room with a generous volume. Warm, contemporary-style character mixed with the soothing, exotic "bourgeois" soul of the place. Careful heritage restoration (preservation of cement tile & "terrazzo" floors, wooden staircase, doors, original woodwork & parquet floors). Lots of charm. Cozy & cozy atmosphere.
