The home’s architectural pedigree includes iconic concrete floors, stacked stone features and post and beam ceilings. The original floor to ceiling windows have been replaced with fabulous moving walls of glass by Fleetwood – blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living. Modern kitchen and baths, high-speed internet service, and four smart flat-screen televisions.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This home has a happy, comfortable vacation vibe. The backyard, with spectacular mountain views, is central to the experience: completely walled for privacy and well laid out for sundrenched days and long evenings under the stars. There is a heated in-ground pool with an integrated waterfall spa from which to enjoy the views. You’ll also find alfresco dining for eight, a more intimate dining space for two or three, and an outdoor living room with a fire pit for cool desert evenings. A bed of palm trees and desert flora center the space, and an outdoor shower by an olive tree adds to the charm. Cool architectural elements help make this space the quintessential hang-out spot --- mid-century block work, a burbling fountain and neat lighting. You’re going to love it. Charge your car at no cost using the EV charging port that is located in the carport. The charger is a NEMA 6-50R, rated at 50 amps on a 240v 50 amp GFCI breaker. Must bring own adapter and cord in order to use.

INDOOR LIVING SPACES

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All three bedrooms feature flat screen televisions, hotel-quality mattresses and bedding, and ample closet space. Bedroom 1 has a queen-sized bed, a sitting area, a desk, and direct pool access. It shares a large bath with a generous walk-in shower with roomy Bedroom 2, which has a queen-sized bed and a desk. Bedroom 3 has two queen-sized beds, as well as a private patio for morning coffee or a pleasant work call, and has direct access to a hallway bath with tub and shower. Each bedroom has a style of its own, all fitting into the ‘50s vibe.

THE LOCATION
This property is centrally located in the Tahquitz River Estates neighborhood, which sits between bustling Downtown and the nightclubs, bars, and restaurants of the South Palm Springs Business District. Burger joints, sandwich shops, and grocery stores are all nearby. Tahquitz Creek Trail offers great running and dog-walking just around the corner. Also nearby is Prescott Preserve, a large natural park with easy walking and biking paths.

The vibe of this home is very California… very Palm Springs. The owners have created a comfortable, relaxing getaway space that honors the mid-century pedigree of the home but meets the needs of how we live today.
