While it was too windy for a paddle board ride, we enjoyed the beach being super close by as well as stores and restaurants. The house was nice and the check in was easy. The backyard is enclosed so the kids could play in the yard without us having to worry that they would find their way to the front. Even if they did the house is located on a very quiet street. The backyard is large and we had lots of privacy. I don’t know if it’s just a winter thing but once the tide comes in a small part of the backyard will flood with a few inches of water and it was a ton of fun to go out with the kids and splash around in the water, it was the highlight of their trip. House was extremely clean and well kept. Working with the host was also very easy and we had no issues during our stay. We didn’t end up using the kayaks or paddle boards but the access to the river was really easy and if you do choose to use them it would be really easy to get your gear in and out of the river. Had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Loved that it felt private yet still really close to the Main Street of town so you can walk to the store. The bedroom area upstairs for the kids is a perfect getaway for them. The beds downstairs are amazing along with everything being so clean. Love the large backyard with access to the river. The upstairs was a dream, carpeted with a door at the top and bottom of the stairs, to allow the kids to play and explore without worry. My girls enjoyed playing with all the games in the house. The beds are all super comfortable. The location is great for heading to the beach to play in the sand or watch the sunset. Dining area was lovely and included a high chair.
