Gebuchtes Zimmer nicht verfügbar

Trotz vorab bezahlter Buchung war das gebuchte Zimmer nicht verfügbar, vielmehr wir waren gar nicht auf dem Schirm der Lodge. Die jungen Damen waren überaus unfreundlich und nicht bereit auch nur auf einen Wunsch einzugehen. Empfehlungen konnten sie ebenfalls keine aussprechen. Das Frühstück lies absolut zu wünschen übrig.

Nice to stay B&B

It was a great stay, very friendly people who go out of their way to make it comfortable and pleasant. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The only negative is that there are people in the area who plays load music late at night which is disturbing

Bad customer service, hotel didn't honour booking

The hotel didn't honour the booking. We called ahead before booking on the site to ensure that the room would be available, but when we arrived 1 hour later they had given the room to another guest. We were understandably a little annoyed, but the owner was super rude over the phone. When I tried to explain that we had made a non-refundable booking on hotels.com, and that we called beforehand and were told the room was available, he told me to "be quiet, I'm trying to be nice about this." When I later requested a refund through hotels.com, the owner told hotels.com that they had already refunded us by paying for another room in another hotel, which was not true. They had offered to do that, but only if we could wait around for hours for them to arrive from somewhere else in Namibia. So we found another hotel on our own and contacted hotels.com for a refund. When I called to ask the owner to clarify the situation with hotels.com, I was interrupted and hung up on. Then he forced me to listen to a lengthy explanation about how his booking system works. Very very poor customer service. It's a shame because we would have liked to have had a good experience, the hotel facilities seemed nice.

Sehr nettes Gästehaus mit guter Ausstattung.

Ein nettes Gästehaus in einer Kleinstadt gelegen, die alle Versorgungsmöglichkeiten bietet. Aufgrund seiner Lage eignet es sich vor allem zur Übernachtung auf dem Weg von Windhuk zum Etosha Nationalpark. Aber auch zum Ausflug in den nahe gelegenen Warerberg-Nationalpark.gute Ausstattung und sichere Parkmöglichkeit.Hervorzuheben sind Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Besitzer. Auch ein guter Service und gute Küche wird geboten.

Vietimme täällä yön matkalla Etoshaan, jonne sai aamulla lähteä huippukätevästi hotellin sijainnin ansiosta. Paikka oli moderni, hiljainen ja siisti. Huone (#7) hyvän kokoinen, netti toimi hyvin boottauksen jälkeen ja oma kaukosäädin pihan porttiin kätevöitti syömästä tuloa. Uima-allas oli siisti ja mainio ajopäivän loppuviilennys. Oma ravintola oli meidän käynti-iltana kiinni, mutta 700m päässä olevassa hotellissa saatiin yhdet koko reissun kärki-illallisista maun puolesta.
