Our 1875 Victorian cottage offers a blend of history and comfort. My husband and I lovingly decorated to make a peaceful escape with vintage charm. Relax on the porch, explore nearby nature, or unwind with movies, books, and games. Downtown restaurants, brewery, shops, and scenic views are a short walk away. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, small groups, and business travelers. Nearby: Woods, Etnyre, the Byron plant, and KSB Hospital. Fun fact: the cottage was used as a filming location for a Hulu show and an independent film! THE SPACE The cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and a 3-season sleeping porch with a full-size bed. You'll also have access to the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and a cozy sitting room filled with natural light. Its vintage décor and attention to detail create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether relaxing indoors or exploring the outdoors, Cariad Cottage offers an unforgettable retreat. GUEST ACCESS You'll have access to the whole house, backyard, standalone screened-in porch, and propane grill. There are designated storage areas in the basement that are clearly marked as off-limits. SECURITY SYSTEM There is a Ring doorbell with video and audio recording capabilities. I moved from Oregon in 1978 and come back often . It was so great to look at all your memorabilia . It was comfortable with all the extra blankets as we sat and talked about old times. The owners of the property are very courteous and responsive. You can walk to the town center, it’s not super close, but certainly walkable. Plus, it’s on a beautiful street so it’s a nice walk. The area is also quiet, which is nice. We thought the beds were comfortable, which is especially important to us. The second bedroom is small, but functional. Overall, I recommend the property if you are okay with staying in a charming older cottage. We would stay again. ##### Scott B.
