« 泊まる施設は全体的に古さは否めないですが、全てにおいて清潔で気持ちが良かった。そして、期待していた食事ですが、夕食も朝食も期待以上に美味しかったです。 まさか、ケーキがホールでおいていて、自分で好きなだけカットできるなんて信じられませんでした。 色々なホテルや旅館に泊まりましたが、1番良かったです。 リピーターが多いのには納得でした、近々行きたいと思います »

« Our room was spacious and very clean. The private onsen was large and very comfortable, looking out over the river but completely private. We had the kaiseki dinner each night which was elaborate and delicious. The town of Yamanaka is very pretty with fun row of shops specialising in lacquer wear and pottery, some cafes, the usual restaurants and a big public men's and women's bath, along with a beautiful walk in the gorge along the river. All of this is within 5-15 minutes walk of the hotel....

« This is a truly unique hotel, transformed from an old house and surrounded by various shops that add to the street’s historic charm. We stayed on the ground floor and had a wonderful experience—a spacious bedroom facing a small, traditional courtyard, with convenient hotel facilities nearby. One staff member spoke excellent English, and even the Japanese-speaking staff were very helpful, assisting us by calling our next hotel in Kaga Onsen to arrange a pick-up bus. The staff were always polite...
