« The stay was great if you don’t mind cameras watching you. Propane tank was empty, couldn’t sit on balcony because straw would go up my ass from the crappy chairs. Stove top was dirty with mysterious fluid. It was what it was. Plenty to do in area. Plenty of undersize crab available- we threw them back. »

« The house was great, had everything you needed to feel right at home. Nothing was too far away although when you pull up you feel like you’re in the middle of no where. The water views and beaches near by were wonderful. Check in and out process was easy. Such a fun relaxing experience. »

« Three family groups - 5 adults and one toddler - lot of room so not on top of each other - we cooked in all weekend - nicely equipped kitchen, roomy dining table (also great for games and cards). Thoroughly enjoyed the porch room - beautiful view. Walked around the yard with the toddler - spacious. Used the kayaks - nice to have that option. Took some walks - nice area. Next door neighbor - not close, but was playing loud music while setting up for a party, a minor irritant. During the party...

« My cousin and I stayed in the cottage for a girls' weekend. We adore it! We wish we could live here forever! It is clean and comfortable and better than the photos represent. We especially love the layout and charming decor. It is very close to the quaint little town. We enjoyed lunch on the deck at Mallard's. We had lots of fun at The Blarney Stone for karaoke. We highly recommend this cottage! »

« The Clifton House is like stepping into your own manor by the bay. The large 5-acre property ensures privacy and peace. Upon our arrival, the home was clean and the furniture in good condition. The house is LARGE with room for everyone in our party of 8 to spread out and relax. For 6 guests in our party, this was their second stay at the Clifton House, and they all said it was as wonderful as they all remembered. All the rooms boast gorgeous views and lots of light from the numerous windows....

« This is the third year we've stayed at this house and we still love it. The gentle bay is perfect for young kids and the house is great. We loved the new table that seats 10. The realtors are not response on VRBO but are very helpful if you call the Blue Heron office. Hoping this house will be available to book in 2023. »

« From start to finish, Christie was warm, friendly and welcoming. The hospitality and communication were off the charts. The private beach view is one of the most amazing views we experienced. Very private and a long stretch of beach to walk along. The place was clean and has everything you need from a basics standpoint. The surroundings were awesome. Lots of fields and nature to explore nearby with the golf cart. Highly recommend and will be back. »
