"The property has seen better days! Ensuites has that prison vibe. Bathroom door broken and didn’t shut. Shower not cleaned - long hair in multiple locations. Breakfast ok, except for the powdered eggs! Gross. Pub burger was edible in evening was edible."

"Friendly staff on the whole. We booked a double and were initially sent to a twin room but fortunately this was quickly remedied. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Tatty desk chair. Bathroom clean. Some chips on edges of tiles in the shower area. Spent some time mid evening in the bar. Only two tables were available when we arrived, both with dirty glasses etc. Neither was cleared in the hour we were there, though the bar staff did not appear to be very busy."

"Host was very welcoming and property was cosy with everything you needed. There were a couple of things that needed fixing - the kitchen tap was very loose and the door lock needs attention other than that a very enjoyable stay."
