Let’s not beat around the bush, it wasn’t clear that this room had a ‘communal bathroom’ which as a business traveller and 43, is not something I would ever consider - but apparently it was on the listing….now considering this and the fact that you are greeted by two towels and a toilet roll would indicate that this is a hostel - nothing wrong with that but the area is interesting with other types of accommodation surrounding the hostel, it didn’t feel threatening but definitely not a country house hotel that it may try to give an impression of. Happy to go to the kitchen for a hot drink etc. Shame the light came on in the night as it was sensitive if you moved in the bed!
