"First off, the owner is a scam artist and tried to get me to pay for a room that I already paid for. Secondly the room was musty and the entire property is in serious need of updating. The mattress was hard as a rock, the blankets had tears in them, the carpet was badly stained and crusty in some spots and the trash cans in the room already trash in them before we got there.... The motel appeared to have several "extended stay" residents who were nothing but a nuisance. I would not recommend...

"The hotel is non-smoking but someone on the third floor was smoking in a room. We first noticed the smell when we entered the elevator around 4 p.m. but also later twice in the evening. We were on the third floor. We would not stay in that hotel again. Staff should walk the halls and enforce the policy. We hope that the smoker was fined and had to pay the extra fees assessed at check-in for "incidentals.""
